This is just a brief history of mirror.infatuated.org. Nothing of that much interest. Just for those curious or bored... or both, since the two usually come together... -back- mirror.infatuated.org was first launched in 2002. The summer, I do believe. Or was it the fall? Winter? Gah... I don't remember the exact date, since I had the space for a while and really didn't do anything with it for a while. What can I say? I'm lazy. Anyway, my first web design/ web site experience was with Shippo-chan's Little World, which is now a more or less dying site (I haven't updated in forever, and it's highly unlikely that I will be updating any time soon). With that site, it was first just basic basics, with almost no layout planning. I didn't figure out how to use tables until about a year or two after starting up the site. Much have I learned since then. I was editor-in-chief for my school's prize-winning online paper, Silver Chips Online, and that is where I got my first exposure to CSS, PHP, and other forms of coding. I'm extremely lazy, and so this site has minimal coding. Of course, that really defeats the purpose of being lazy, since PHP and CSS save so much time, if you use them properly... But anyway, perhaps if I ever get around to redesigning this site again, I'll convert. In the meantime, most of the code is strictly HTML with design made in Adobe Photoshop. Anyway, that's more about me, and not about the site. mirror.infatuated.org is hosted by the great Ruby-san, fellow loser and dork. Oh, and webdesigner extraordinaire. And a cousin-who-isn't-really, as well. Don't ask me to explain. Please. You'll just get confused. Trust me. This site was created for my own pleasure. What I post here is for my friends and family to see, for the most part. I try not to be offensive, but if you should find anything of such nature, then... well, that just sucks for you, doesn't it? in fact, i said it all quite clearly in an early version of mirror.... "this is a collection of anythings and everythings that a certain g-ankle-bob wants to post. so if there is something here you don't like, then deal with it. i post it for my own purposes. if you don't like it, why are you here in the first place? go jump off a cliff, why don't you. " yeah, you. go jump off a cliff. actually, don't. it wouldn't be a pretty sight. Yeah, anyway, this site contains mostly my artwork, writings, rants, and anything else that I deem worthy of being posted on the great and awesome world wide web. That doesn't mean much, really. It's anything that catches my fancy, which really could be anything. If anything random shows up-- which will most likely happen-- I have a miscellany page. This site originally was just a place for me to post a few pictures I had drawn for my friends and I to use for our senior ad in the yearbook. They actually came out quite nice. That was originally a Legolas layout, a present from Ruby for the opening of my site. And then I decided to change layouts, and so it was ink-splats/blood-splotches. At that point, I took the pictures I had drawn down and replaced them with a listing of some of my wallpapers (the wallpapers you can find here. Then, the layout changed to Hatsuharu from the anime, Fruits Basket. And until now, it just stayed with that layout. It was one page, and the only updated content was the wallpapers. And even that wasn't updated often. Now, what you see is what I've spent many hours blinding myself in front of the computer screen for.
