...explanations of my wallpapers (the dates after them are the dates they appeared on my site)...      gackt-my first background. it was right after my initial obsession with the crazy jpop/jrock singer, and so i decided to make my first layout of him. 4.15.2003      jun jin-this sexy beast (coff coff) from the korean boy band shinhwa is my favorite of the six boys. of course, he acts the most gay out of them, but... what can i say? he certainly doesn't look as girly as most of them...4.15.2003      chibi-shinhwa-the six of them. SD style! so cute, eh? they're from a site called mintgray.com. it's a korean site, but it's got tons of cute shinhwa fanart.4.15.2003      wonbin-ah yes, another korean star. buahaha. and for once, even my MOM thinks he's cute. though i don't know what that says for me... O_o;;;4.15.2003      Les Mizerables-it's a background using a part of a pic of minwoo and junjin and the translated lyrics from gackt's song, Les Mizerables. 4.15.2003      Ayanami Rei (Evangelion)-for my dohn saeng, ryan-gilroy-san, who was hoping for more backgrounds with some images he showed me. so i took one of the images and made a background. hope you like it, dohn saeng! 4.29.2003.      evanescence, "hello"- inspired by the wonders of photoshop 7.0 (thank you ryan-dohn-saeng!) as well as my newfound penchant for this group's music. yay. i'm also posting because omar was complaining for me to update. so yeah. deal. 5.10.2003      my friends and i- from a photo that my dearest friend "jamis grao" gave me from after a picnic. our names are labeled there. the picture was taken in blair's student activity center (sac) after a picnic.      leaves- another background inspired by the magnificence of photoshop 7.0, basically. not much else to say.      sanzo houshi (gensomaden saiyuki)- ah, one of my favorite animes here. based off of the chinese legend of xi you ji (or, in japanese, saiyuki), this is the gun-toting, chain-smoking, droopy-eyed priest. i love the flowers, don't you?      weiss kreuz- another good anime, these guys are the four assassins known as "weiss kreuz," which, translated from german, means white cross. it's a cool anime, really.      ryan is a BUTT- i was sending my "little brother" some wallpapers, and since he was being a bum, as little brothers tend to do, i decided that making a wallpaper dedicated to him wouldn't be so bad. it would be a nice reminder of my awesome love for my piggy-lil-bro... heh heh      Penguins- my brother was researching penguins some time back, and so I was helping out by finding pictures of them... and then this wallpaper was born as I sat there, bored out of my wits.... 01.20.05      Io Sogno Prigioniera- from the OP of Record of Lodoss Wars. Beautiful song. 01.20.05      Gorillaz- was the product of hearing Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood too many times while trying out new things in Photoshop.01.20.05      Sherazard, War of Genesis !!!- a simple background made from images Ryan sent me one day. Oh, how I really want to play this game.... 01.20.05      Violins- I was getting sick of my last background and was trying to find something new to put up. I decided that, with my extensive background in music and violin, I really needed something with music. And the violin. 01.20.05      Valentine's Day- not really made for Valentine's Day (I think I made it in the summer? Late spring?), but the colors did remind me of that oh-so-special Single Awareness Day that I just called it that. There aren't even any hearts on this wallpaper.... weird...01.20.05      Angel's Tale- inspired by Hyde's single, Angel's Tale. Gorgeous, quiet-but-powerful song. 01.20.05      Geometric- I admit, after many long nights with Angel's Tale blasting in the background and everything else quiet and dark... my Angel's Tale background was starting to creep me out with its eerie glow. And so I hastily made "Geometric." I think I made it in approximately ten minutes. 01.20.05      My Dog- I have never had a dog, and I probably won't be able to have one for a long time, unfortunately. And so, My Dog was created, first as a sketch, and then ultimately as a clay figure. I like working with clay- I ended up making my Christmas presents last winter (2003) 01.20.05      In a World of Chaos- I don't remember where this came from. Probably just playing around in Photoshop... 01.20.05      Memo- Because I had uploaded so much anime and movies on my computer last winter, I had to find some way to keep my brothers out of my computer. Plus, my mom said I was addicted, and I was trying to prove her wrong. However, because of that period of time, my internet usage was cut back tenfold... 01.20.05      Geometric II- Also from playing around with Photoshop. I didn't want the Memo to stay there forever! 01.20.05      Wild Days- most of what I make are just from random scribblings on Photoshop. I believe I was trying to achieve a certain effect for a page layout that really didn't pan out. Instead, I turned it into a wallpaper. 01.20.05      Smile- Done completely online. I try to draw with the mouse (emphasis on the word TRY), and it doesn't work out as well as I wish it could. But... this worked out ok, right? 01.20.05      Laughter- I scared someone with this background, I think. It was only up for about half a day before I got rid of it. I don't like it too much... 01.20.05      Introducing: Jeff-kun!- features me and my brother. Unfortunately, you have to stare past me and my ugly, deformed features (my mom says I look like a horse... you make the call) and my glasses to see Jeff.... It was a very fun photo session. We basically were sitting on the floor and just trying out different faces. 01.20.05      Gackt- this one doesn't look as much like him. In fact, I've gotten questions on if this picture is of a girl! Ah... no. It's Gackt. Cute, isn't it?01.20.05      Kyou and Yuki, Fruits Basket- is one of the cutest anime yet, but there's always something dark lurking in the shadows behind their eyes that cries out to me and drags me under. 01.20.05      Gemstone- It was kind of funny. The program I was in for one semester before I deemed it unworthy of my time and dropped was called the Gemstone Program. A waste of time, really. But I definitely like the gemstone visualization scheme on WMP! And that helped me make this.01.20.05      Watching- me. This IS me. Just played around with on Photoshop. It's funny, because everyone sees it and goes, "OMG, NINJA!" [sigh] I wasn't really going for that effect, but... ah well.01.20.05      Gackt, Things to do- A list I made for myself to remind me of what I needed to do, long-term-wise. Ah, and Gackt is so PRETTY... Haha. Oh, and notice how study/schoolwork is at the bottom of the list....01.20.05      Eat Healthy!- another wallpaper with lists! I don't know why I suddenly liked lists, but I did. The story about this one is that I realized that I was eating VERY unhealthily at school. The food in our diner is horrible, and although I wasn't eating that MUCH of it, I still was eating. And what I ate wasn't very healthy. So I put up a reminder. I think my "healthy" diet lasted about two or three months. Maybe not even that long....01.20.05      Geometric III- not as geometrically structured as the first two, since this one has curves and actually is more like a black hole type thing, sucking the shape from the lines. Maybe that's a sign...01.20.05      Cirque du Soleil- I absolutely LOVE Cirque du Soleil.
